Where am I Going?

Begin by asking yourself – Where am I today? That’s the starting point of values-based goal-setting. (A link is provided below to a worksheet you can download and fill in. This page contains samples.)

To do this exercise, think about these areas of your life. You may want be in a quiet place to examine where you are in each of these areas. Be honest. Where are you today? Next, what would you like your life to be like in the future? Be as general or as specific as you want in describing your goals.
